Are You Open Without Realising It?

Do any of the following apply to you?
Sleepless nights for no obvious reason
Waking at the same time every night
A gradual, ongoing tiredness that builds over weeks or months
Needing several days to properly recharge after social or emotional interaction

If so, there’s a strong possibility you are already open—and more importantly, open without knowing how to close.
This isn’t unusual. In fact, it’s extremely common.
Most people who arrive at our open circles are already in this state. They haven’t trained as mediums, and many wouldn’t even describe themselves that way, but they are naturally receptive. Awareness is switched on, but control hasn’t been learned yet. That lack of control is what causes exhaustion, disturbed sleep, and the sense of being constantly “on.”
Being open does not mean something is wrong with you. It means you’re receptive.
What does cause problems is staying open continuously.
Learning to close is not difficult. It doesn’t require belief systems, rituals, or anything dramatic. There are a few simple exercises that teach your awareness when to open and when to shut down. Once that skill is in place, sleep normalises, energy returns, and sensitivity becomes manageable rather than draining.
I often suspect that people don’t find our open circles by accident. Time and again, those who are struggling with these symptoms seem to be guided into one of the Network circles at exactly the point they need to learn this skill.
For those who aren’t ready for a live circle, we also accommodate this work through guided meditations on our Patreon channel. These include clear opening and closing sequences, specifically designed for people who are already open and need control rather than stimulation.
Over the years, I’ve met people in circles who have genuinely not slept properly for decades—not weeks, not months, but years. After a single session or circle, they report back that they’ve had the first full night’s sleep of their adult lives. That’s not because anything mystical was added—it’s because something was finally switched off.
It’s also important to understand this: being closed does not mean you lose contact with your guides.
When you’re closed, guidance is still there. What changes is the noise level. And for most people, being closed for the majority of the time actually leads to stronger, clearer messages when they do open—because the system isn’t exhausted.
