🌌 1. Life After Death Is Real (and Complicated)
In the Babylon 5 universe, souls exist, reincarnation is common (especially among the Minbari), and some alien races like the Soul Hunters try to trap the soul at the moment of death — an act considered spiritually abusive by others. There are ghosts, resurrections, and even a final ascension "beyond the rim".
John Sheridan literally dies, is returned to life by Lorien (the show's closest analogue to a cosmic guide), and then vanishes — not in fear, but in acceptance.

J. Michael Straczynski, the creator of Babylon 5, has moved to the UK.
He now has full UK residency and work rights, and he’s said openly that he wants to write for British TV — including, perhaps, Doctor Who. Years ago, when that show needed a new showrunner, JMS even volunteered publicly.
Now stir in a rumour: Disney, co-funder of Doctor Who, may be quietly pushing for change. New direction. New Doctor. New voice.
Could JMS be that voice?
I wouldn’t be surprised. He’s in the right place, at the right time. And as anyone involved in mediumship knows, there are no coincidences — only timing arranged by spirit.
